The Kumu Kula Waena-Kiʻekiʻe (Middle & High School Teacher – Social Studies) is responsible for delivering project-based instruction while demonstrating excellence in state metrics. Designs inquiry-based, project-based learning (PBL) experiences that promote critical thinking, civic engagement, and connections to Hawaiian culture, ʻāina-based learning, and real-world issues. Instruction supports student mastery of social studies standards and prepares learners for academic and civic success.
Hawaiʻi Secondary Teacher credentials preferred.
