Our goal is to positively impact our communities through project-based learning, which integrates Science, ʻIke Hawaiʻi, and Mahiʻai.

Information regarding our integration of the Hawaiian culture and values as the guiding principle as it pertains to our academic curriculum and project based learning.

Project-Based Learning

Our Project-Based/Place-Based Learning (PBL) program integrates both Hawaiian cultural knowledge, understanding, and practices with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) or modern knowledge, understanding, and practices to produce unique, practical, and culturally relevant projects that directly impact our communities in a positive way.
